The Peacock flats trip is set and campsites have been reserved. This post will serve as a "home" for any and all updated information as it comes in.

    *Updated as of 5/2 - 10:32am (non-military time)

Initial meet-up time. Small parking lot @ Yokahama Beach next to the front entrance at 9:00a and head in around 9:45a. At the top of the paved road we will stop to air down and continue on the dirt main road about 10:30...

AT THIS TIME LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE 7 MORE SPACES. ANYTHING ELSE WILL NEED A SEPARATE PERMIT.

    - If you have reserved a site, please reply so I can include that in this post and the number of available spaces on your site.
    - If you would like to get onto a permit, please include the number of people (including yourself) you will be bringing so we don't double include (like Mike...lol) and so we can make a change and only pay once.
    - Dinner on saturday night will be potluck. Lunch on Saturday will be BYO (bring your own).
    - There is no running water so that will be BYO.
    - If you will be bringing a "cooking" appliance/apparatus, please also list so we can plan food accordingly. Small built-in grill is available at sites. NEED CHARCOAL

I have site 4 and my permit is full, with myself, wife, daughter, Rick, Ricks daughter, Mike (with Mike double booked) and mikes girlfriend. We are fine with site 4 since it's right at the entrance for site B, so we are still very close to the better outhouse. My daughter is pretty picky about food, so we just gonna bring steaks, and hotdogs, along with the usual camping snacks. There are small built in bbqs at every campsite, so bring charcoal if you want to grill. I usually bring a small gas burner also incase my daughter wants saimin or something.

:edit: DAMN IT! I read the map wrong at site A! I am the furthest one from B!!! Never camped at site A before. oh well...

No, you can only put 7 people on a permit per campsite.

    :edit:
At campsite B, max per site is 7. At site A, you can put 14 people on one permit.
So Neil is right, I do have 7 available spots at site 4.

I'm still down to go. I should be having that weekend off the closer it comes. It would just be myself and my dog. I can help bring charcoal if needed. As well as a few other things.

    :woot:
Rick called me and told me that site 8 opened up, so I hung up on him to go check, and sure enough, it was open. So I quickly booked 8 and cancelled site 4.
So we are now full at site 8 with 7 people. Now we can have a party :D
So if anybody else wants their own site, 4 at site A is open.
