Thanks.....yeah I went a little heavier with the wheels, I ripped the stocks right off with my 3s LOL

BTW......I'm considering selling it if anyone's interested, and of course if the price is right. I've actually only driven it maybe 10 times, spent more time upgrading parts....to many hobbies :D. I have lots of extras, nice carry bag truck and everything fits in, also have the Traxxas EZ peak 6amp charger, Traxxas 2cell 5800mah 7.4v and a Traxxas 3cell 6400mah 11.1v batteries.........

I was just drooling over the Super Swamper TSLs for the shortcourse trucks, Just found out that they came out with a size for em. They look like a great basher tire. I like how the rc world is following a scale trend nowadays. Those KM2s look good too!

    In need of $$$
Well, after yesterday's tree incident, called TRCC and they had the RPM arms in stock. Went by there during lunch and the girl (owners daughter) was really helpful. Got a couple sets of arms, and some oil..

Came home, to start on the arms, then the front shocks.. When the cap popped off the front, the rubber bladder also popped off.. Thanks to Kaleo that he just happened to be at Hobbitat to grab me some bladders….

So, RPM arms all around, oil change in all 4 shocks, 2 batteries charged up.. tomorrow a little family gathering at my recent passed grandma's (in Waialua). Gonna let me boy and my nephew play on the cane road behind the house… hope no huge damage to report tomorrow.. In other news, the slash I got had some Pro Line rear shocks.. aluminum with the bladder and bleeder integrated into the cap.. Gonna grab a set of fronts at some point to replace the stock fronts.

But don't want to upgrade too much, as soon as I get a Stampede, the slash is going on CL… wife would kill me if I kept 2 (and if she knew how much each one was!!!)… lol..

BTW: about to just trash a 3s Lipo (deans plug) if anyone wants it free. Venom brand. 5000mah 20c (but free).. Possibly a bit older, but should do you right for a while.. let me know.. (crack addict guy included it in the sale)..

If you hold onto it till the next time I see you I'll take it. I'll just toss it but I'll drain it completely first so it doesn't explode. If you toss it in the trash as is it could catch the garbage truck on fire, then they gonna have investigations and what not. If you give it to me I can drain it to 0 volts so it's safe. Takes a few days but can be done. Unless someone else wants it to use it?

I think we going to Sandys Sunday to race! But Kaleo gonna know better after his test. And I think the slash and stampede use the same shocks? So I'd get aluminum fronts then swap them for the plastic ones on the stampede before you sell :D

Or you could stab it and throw it in a bucket of salt water :D
that will also fully drain it.
This is some of my LiPos for the helis.

The 5s lipos would be run in series, and all the small ones are for the video downlink and pan/tilt controls.

Old pics tho. Most of the valuable electronics have been stripped and sold off. I still have one frame and head left, but not worth rebuilding. Thinking of buying a new kit tho. I really miss flying.

Wow, the expensive stuff! That's what held me back from getting into flying. One mistake and its time to rebuild, bot just kick it back over onto the wheels...
I vote to build another heli, then we could get aerial shots at the meets!

one of my girlfriends co-workers is going to lend me a pair of scisors tonight and im going to start cutting. Oh and Nate would you happen to have a hole reamer and some spare time this late afternoon? i was thinking of at least prepping everything tonight, for masking tomorrow, and then paint on Monday.

Dayum! That's some LiPo's! I vote new kit too! I never did much with big heli's cause the mini's are so much cheaper when you crash. You could build a quad! OR one for those six rotor beasts!

I was just gonna toss the battery in a bucket of salt water for a few days, stabbing it help speed it up? But no need it Brandon takes it :)
