I haven't been down those roads in a long time, so it gets confusing on where they go sometimes. I usually stick to the trails when I go up there and I know them like the back of my hand.

 

Hahahaha! Was still fun, and yeah, the trails that connect the upper and lower road look the same. We took the kelia trail down to the lower road, and those are some steep hills

I can't stay over but will meet up with Dana or Ron going up dependin on what day I can go. Miles you said you guys come down early on Sunday though right?

 

Thats cool. I leave my house by 5am. Pick up coffee then head to the west side. Were usually out and at Yokohama's by 1 or 2. Then Keau beach for some soft sand action

 

Where do you live? I'm up at 4 usually anyways during the week. Maybe I'll need to install some of my lights if we go up that early. What time do they let you in for a day pass?

 

I got there when it was still dark. The guard let me in no problem. I live in Waipio.

 

We usually leave camp around 10-11am and get down the mountain around 12pm

 

I can't make it. I just found out I gotta work that Saturday. I'm bummed now.

How many do we have so far that are for sure camping for either one night or the whole weekend?

I will be there as long as can get the CMC done.

 

Looks like February 25 we can start reserving the campsite B 7, 8 & 9. So wake up early and reserve the camp sites.Then from there we can add people to the campsite.

 

So i am not able to make the camping as i just realizes it is the last weekend on island
