I'm pretty sure that's the one I saw parked outside of where we went on Sunday, Ron. Maybe I didn't tell you. Had different wheels and tires, though. I didn't look for a front shaft, nice truck.

That's why I've been so pissed about the whole process. They will pass a truck you have to do a bunch of modifications to when you SAS it, but when I do it I get the book thrown at me.

I remember seeing that one posted from Plan B's facebook page. .

Wonder if it passed without the SAS? Probably not with the 3" body on there as well...

looks like it has a long gusset plate. also the leaf spring hangers have to be welded on.

Actually, they didn't care about the exo because it doesn't block any of the drivers view and it doesn't look like it will fall off driving down the road.
    Certainly seems like it.

I heard the best story so far for recon. One guy got his straight fronted Toyota through recon after they stopped passing straight fronts. He has a HPD buddy that pulled some strings and they backdated his paperwork so it looks like he passed before they stopped.

A buddy at work has a slammed taco. Notched and welded frame to clear the axle with low profile bumpstops. Almost passed recon until the inspector took a closer look and said, "where's your bumpstops?" then looked closer and saw the frame was notched, and right away said that he cannot get recon. So he lifted it back up to stock height and no need recon. But it still passes safety even tho the frame is still notched

Yeah, I wasn't doubting what you said. My friend just told me about it and it just proved what you were talking about. Maybe it's time for me to ask some people I know. ;)
