Mine was a pleasant procedure. The only issue was that one of mine shattered. It felt like a painless shrapnel grenade went off in my mouth.

I had Four taken out, put to sleep and IV. Lost alot of weight, about 15lbs. The bottom ones took longer to heal, if it hadn't been for the lower ones I would have been eating normally. Otherwise tea bags are good for soaking up the blood as compared to gauze, and give you a taste of something other than blood. :D

    Stock. Purchased 2/17/19. Cement!
I was put to sleep! I wouldn't have it any other way.
My dentist couldn't do it. I had them surgically removed.
    Vicodin helped. :D Good luck.

I had two be out under twice. I had to switch surgeons because the first idiot who performed my surgery did not put me under right and I woke up in the middle of the procedure and was trying to kill him with his own tools. So he would not see me again the remove the rest. When I got home that night I also realized he lived under me (apartments) and of course he tried getting me in trouble once he figured it out. Anyone in CO Springs stay away from Dr. Hong at Perfect Teeth.

It depends on the patient. If you're more comfortable being put under, do it. You can have it done while awake quite easily but if they are impacted I would see an oral surgeon to have it done. Every person heals differently and what may be horrible for one person may be a piece of cake for another.

PM me if you have any other questions.(I'm a dentist, BTW).

Had my lower 2 removed a couple of weeks ago. Got put to sleep. Woke up with no pain and some stitches where my wisdom teeth used to be. I didn't have any pain whatsoever. I also was religious about following the instructions for not getting dry sockets. I heard some nightmare stories about that and didn't want firsthand knowledge. Best of luck!
