hydrostatic weighing. but a dexa scan is more accurate but gona cost you a little more. its cool tho cuz it shows your body fat on your whole body. it gives you a scan of your body and shows how much fat is everywhere.

try calling a local university if you have one, a lot of times you can get on a waiting list to have a kinesiology student do a whole fitness exam and it won't cost you anything. body fat testing, vo2 max testing and all that

Calipers or hydrostatic. That photo is a decent gauge. Go on how you look. I give no fucks about what the numbers say. It's all about how you look anyway.

That's fine. You can still just look in the mirror and be like yeah, I need to get rid of those love handles. Or yeah, I do have a cock awning I should probably lose some weight. If you are striated as fuck and incredibly vascular you probably are sub 10%. If it's important go to a gym that has a trainer and have them do the caliper test on you. Can get a little bit of an idea that way.

im not a huge fan of calipers. i like them on a client that is not skinny but also not over weight and when there goal is to loose body fat, because weighing them isn't a good scale because obviously muscle weighs more than fat.

then I'm able to do a BF test with the calipers at the beginning and at the end. and since the calipers arnt totally accurate, at least when the same person (me) is doing it both times it makes it so the difference is at least accurate. and even if they weigh more i can say there body fat dropped (x) amount.

but i wouldn't recommend one to someone to do once if they just want to know what there BF is because it could be right or wayyyyy off.

the Durnin- Womersley skin fold method that any NASM trainer is gona do doesn't even take a measurement of your leg, how accurate can that be?? and it takes two from your arms, which rant going to store nearly as much fat as say your quad or chest.

id say hydrostatic weighing is the best bet. if skin folds your only option see a trainer that does jackson pollock method, i personally belive its more accurate.

sorry for grammar on my iPhone and not gona take the time to proof read

Lol you know what you're talking about more than myself, but most people don't want to spend the $100 to find out. I really wanted to do it when I had access to it in college, but just never happened. I don' have access to one here now though unfortunately.
