I said the same thing to someone about a month ago...something about getting from point a to point b the easiest way possible. Sure, you can look great doing Crossfit, but I'd rather just lift weights and not worry about puking, pissing myself, or tearing some shit up.

On a related note: I put off leg day all week and had to do it this morning. I found the perfect combination of lifts to make my legs feel like al dente spaghetti noodles
Squats: 12x135lbs, 10x185lbs, 8x225lbs, 6x245lbs, 5x275lbs, 5x275lbs, 5x275lbs, 4x295lbs, 3x305lbs, 2x315lbs
Leg Press (wide and low foot position): 20x6plates, 40x8plates, 20x10plates
Straight Leg DLs: 12x135lbs, 12x185lbs, 5x225lbs, 5x225lbs (started getting crampy)
Leg Extensions: 20x90lbs, 20x110lbs, 15x120lbs

When I stepped off the shuttle bus this morning, I was all like:
