You guys should look into Jim wendlers 5/3/1
    http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/default.asp?m=PD&pid=2976

I've gained strength and lost weight. The best part of it is that it is really simple.

I've just found this forum and will be following along with you guys. It's time for me to lose some weight and muscle mass. I just finished some junior college football.

How's everyone doing? I've been working on my volume training...loving the deep burn. Carb cycling too and cardio when I wake, then go to work, then workout after work. Still 185-187 lbs but seeing results. Got cardio this afternoon when I wake up and 10x10 shoulders and arms with 3x10 isolation movements.

    I'm off to bed...

Welp... Just jumped on the scale for the first time in 11 days when I started this new workout. Last Monday I weighed 206, I am now at 199. Don't know if that's necessarily a good or a bad thing, but I am making leaps in my strength gains and I am finding myself sore every day, so I have reason to believe that I am on the right path.

Side Note: Does anyone have any suggestions for a good tasting whey or hydro-whey? I have had both the GNC vanilla and now the ON hydrowhey chocolate. Both of them got old, and now I find myself choking them down at the end. Any suggestions? Is there such thing as unflavored whey?

    ^^^This!

Or muscle milk (if you don't mind a few extra grams of fat). Another idea is Monster Milk. The larger tub is kinda spendy but you get lots of good shit. 2 servings a day gives you 100 grams of protein. (2 scoop serving size)

Have you tried the MHP MRP? That stuff is tasty and it gives a good ratio of nutrients as well. Comes in a box of 20 individually packaged serving size bags. Tasty shit!

And yes Monster Milk is quite spendy!

Badass! I am also curious what my bench is... I haven't benched in over 2 mos. I have been doing flat dumbell presses though and I was doing 55s about 6 times. I now can rep out 75s 8-10 times. So we will see when I finally do bench again here!

Anybody have any idea what this may be? I did shoulders two days ago and this showed up yesterday morning...? They really don't look like stretch marks to me, mainly just torn vessels almost. And it is all across my shoulders as well as my traps

I had something similar when I did calf presses on the machine. I honestly can't think of the name, but you have your shoulders under pads, and you push up with them to get the bars even with the machine, then you push on the front part working your calves. Hope that helps. Mine weren't as brutal as that just one or too maybe.

I've been following the insanity workouts 7 days a week with p90x ab ripper right afterwards for the last 4 weeks and the results are awesome. My cardio has improved temendously also.

Im not looking to get big, more toned than anything and this workout works great. I just avoid all fast food, pop and sweets. Im definitely happy with it
