    Gainers suck, all sugar.

I drink over half gallon of whole milk a day. Working on getting more.

My homemade weight gainer is 2 skewpz protein, 10 oz whole milk, 1 tbsp olive oil, 6 oz coconut milk... About 900 calories. Currently on a daily basis I am at about 3900 cals of generally healthy food.

This is my diet for the most part. Should be logged for saturday http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/eskaja90?date=2013-10-05

I kinda agree with him. Before I started lifting, I was 140 lbs and 8% bf. I looked like a fucking telephone pole. Now, I'm 195 (as of this morning) and ~15% bf and can actually lift a telephone pole haha. I don't like the IIFYM completely, although if it's around 5-6 PM and I'm not close to my daily macro intake, I'll eat a pizza or a cheeseburger or something to boost my cals. I don't do this more than once a week though. On a normal day, I eat clean and every 2-3 hours, so I don't have to worry about cramming junk to hit my calories, but on college football Saturday, I start eating the shit haha

ON Serios Mass...been taking it for years

Not low in sugar, but nothing close to being 'all sugar'. It's also won numerous awards from BB, IFBB, etc. I know, awards aren't everything, but from someone who's been on the shit for almost 3 years, I'd have to say it works. Now True Mass and all that other crap, I don't know about b/c I only use ON for my supplementation needs, which is just protein and creatine haha. Fuck BCAA's, ZMA, amino acids and all that other crap...not saying they don't work, but they're not getting my money!

So, from what I can tell, Pro Gainer is like a 'higher end' version of Serious Mass, but with less calories per serving?

I can see it's got more protein, but less calories and carbs, so it's probably better for a lean gain, whereas Serious Mass will add muscle, as well as fat, which I'm fine with. I've always wanted to try Pro Complex, but since it's $20 more than Serious Mass, they can keep that shit haha.

EDIT: I meant to reply to KodiakToyTrD on this. My bad.

Well considering the fact that Pro Complex has 28 servings for 65 bucks and Serious Mass has 16 servings for 44 bucks...I'd say Pro Complex is the better deal all around.

That's what I was just looking at. I love my Serious Mass, but I go through 12 pounds in half a month. That's around $100/month. I might have to look deeper into this haha

    10/7/13:

Spent all day plasti-dipping the train horns on the truck so that they blend in behind the grill. (which is also black- I can't stand chrome) After doing that, I changed out the CAF, and topped off the
    coolant..
...after I finished doing my thing, I remembered the wife pointing out her passenger side windshield spray nozzle wasnt functioning (must be a Jeep thing?) so I headed to the auto parts store to buy a replacement pair. After fighting with that carbon filter firewall (which is pointless..there's no way her v6 can output as much as heat as my Tundra {which doesn't have one} where it would effect the good paint) I was able to trace the lines and found a cracked end piece...installed the replacement part trend did the same to the driver side as my OCD wouldn't let me let it be..

Sunday I spent the day relaxing, window shopped for some car audio upgrades, and watched football.

The ONLY downside I could find was the pricing. 14 meals for $100 would last me about 2 days haha. I guess it's all on how one values their time. For me, I HATE prepping meals, but hate spending money even more, so I'm gonna stick to prepping my meals haha. It's a genius idea though!

Well, after doing a lot of reading about the differences between Serious Mass and Pro Complex, I stumbled upon a bb thread where a bunch of dudes were talking about making their own weight gainers...cheaper and cleaner than stuff we buy. I wrote down a lot of the recurring ingredients from some of the recipes: whey protein, milk, peanut butter, oats, banana, cottage cheese, honey, olive oil, and greek yogurt.

When I run out of my Serious Mass in a few weeks, I'm gonna try it for about a month and see if I get the same results.
