Let us know how it goes! I've got a team of about 30 people signed up for the Norcal one in September. I'll be wearing my GoPro for it. Should get some great footage! Don't know if I want to wear a helmet though... Maybe the chest mount.

Did the Metro Dash Saturday morning. Short course and the obstacles were unrelenting. Individually everything was easy but the lack of rest in between obstacles had my lungs burning less than half-way through. Definitely an eye opener!

I now see that I have to start mixing cardio in with my weight training during the workouts instead of having separate days for each. Also need to start doing speed work during my runs.

I think distance between obstacles at the Mudder will be a benefit as it'll provide some recuperation time, although that same distance will be the thing that bites me.

Rugged Maniac (5k mudder) in early July, Half Dome Hike in late July, half-marathon in October, and the Mudder in November. I've got a lot of reasons to get my ass in shape this year!

Can't wait to hear how it goes, Matt!!

Thats what makes it better man! We all train for a Mudder and then go team up at the same one. Exactly how bootcamp is, people from all over come together and form a team! I think it would rock.

For me those partially submerged tunnels are gonna be the toughest mental challenge.
