I saw a guy so morbidly obese that he was in a wheel chair and so was his obese wife at an Andys eat this burger in 10 min with all the fixins. When he finished, he picked up the tray, held it in the air to give it to the waitress with this look of accomplishment because he had just gotten a free cheeseburger. I swore it looked like he wanted another. I couldn't finish my lunch.

my wife took my son out for birthday breakfast last week, he turned 3. Wife said there was an obese person at the diner sitting behind her so she was in full sight of my son. She was inhaling a burger, my son says... mommy she is eating like a pig. ( her face was giggling she was eating so forcefully)

And then they wear spandex to boot, and television makes huge profits off of it as well. I mean Butter Bean Sheriff. Capitalize on the fat fuck, who's out of breathe running.

The sad thing is, some people don't know what eating healthy even means. And unfortunately, eating healthy costs more than it does to eat at a McDonald's or other fast food place...

That is a cop out, there are so many shows on that talk about healthy eating. But they are usually stuffing thy face and watching Springer

I would strongly disagree with that. First, people know McDonalds isn't health food. That's just a poor excuse. Secondly, there are much more cost effective options than fast food. All it takes is a little bit of creativity and sometimes a good cook book can be a great help! I don't go to fast food places because they're more expensive than what it would cost me to prepare meals at home.

I would stop eating before becoming obese. People get addicted to all sorts of shit. Fatty, salty foods is just another.

I'm not trying to give them excuses. But has anyone ever watched Food Inc? or movies like that? Seriously, some people don't even know what vegetables are...

Funny, that. I can't think of any other addiction (booze, drugs, whatever) where you have to have some of what you're addicted to every day in order to stay alive.

Why is it that some people sympathize with alcoholics but think that fat people should just stop eating? Seems like quitting booze should be easier because you can swear it off completely and still live.

I believe anyone who really and truely does not know that fast food and overly processed food is unhealthy has just buried their head in the sand. They're only hearing what they want to hear. Information is very very accessible these days with the media, billboard and poster advertisements and the internet. If you see yourself getting larger, you have to take it upon yourself and find out why. Those people may not know about eating healthy but only because they're to lazy or ignorant to take care of their own health. Either way, they are 100% to blame in my opinion.

They shouldn't stop eating but it's called will power. You don't need an entire pizza for a single meal. As far as I'm concerned, I don't sympathize with alcoholics or drug addicts either. Lack of will power puts any addict in the situation they're in. If they want to quit their vice and would like some help, I'm all for helping. But don't stuff your face at every meal or drink yourself into a coma every night and cry because it's ruining your life. Sorry, I don't have the bleeding heart mentality for that crap

    Just my opinion of course...
