Weighted Vests

Im looking at getting a weighted vest, the 50lb one from MIR in particular, but looking at some of the reviews people were complaining about not being very adjustable for chest width. my chest is about 44-46in just wondering if anybody else has had a MIR vest or any other recommendations, gonna be mostly used for running but ill use for other workouts to.

 

I have one that i bought at dicks sporting goods and it is pretty adjustable

 

I got one from GNC I use to walk the stairmaster with to keep me in shape for firefighting. Im a pretty big guy 6ft3 225 and it adjusts to me.

 

ive heard alot of good about the mir vest, im kind of turned off from getting a cheaper one, I had a buddy get one from i think wal mart, golds gym vest and i remember him running and it flopping all over the place, more or less punching him in the face every other step he took. Im 6'3'' and 270 gotten fat as hell since i got out the mil last year and me and the wife have been going to the gym 5-6 times a week for the last month, its going real good, and im wanting the extra resistance when im running.

 

have weighted Xvest where you can adjust from 0-80 lbs but it was not cheap. It adjust to me. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/renegade8.htm

 

yea the 50lbs MIR im looking at is 128 on Amazon, i look more into that Xvest, so far the best ive read about are MIR and VForce. but like you say not cheap

 

yea man thats a little above my price range but i do like how they have actual sizes, The MIR have a "one size fits all"

 

just throwing out my knowledge of the subject. But it is like anything you buy , you get what you pay for.
