I have a bad craving for unhealthy food to start. Me and the wife buy groceries a months supply at a time. As it sits is it a bad idea to start p90x with workout only and finish off all my totinos pizzas then start looking at the nutrition aspect of the workout plan?

To do it right you need to change your diet. If you don't all that hard work will go for naught. I speak from experience. I have worked out on an off for years and have lost weight and gained it back until I said enough. I completely changed what I eat and how much I eat and at this point I am at my lowest weight since H.S.(over 20 years ago) and I am actually in better physical condition.

i love unhealthy foods, but what i heard was to stay away from citric acid, if you're trying to build muscle. I'm bulking though so it may be different for you.

Hey all, I have one other question. I intend to follow this p90x stuff down to a T eating all of their recommended recipes and what not. One thing though, I have always had a bad hankerin' for candy and sugared beverages. Would it hurt the p90x workout plan if just one day a week I grabbed a candy bar and an energy drink?

You're either in it or you're not. Excuses or results, you cannot have both.

Did p90x was 270 now 215 It works. You don't have to follow the nutrition religiously but it does help to make better choices when eating. I'm doing p90x2 now that's good stuff too.

I'm 180lbs and could just tone up a bit. Hopefully gain some weight! Lol- Muscle mass that is

Other than my 1 candy bar and energy drink to make weekend working a little bit more enjoyable I will stick precisely with the meal plan.

    ^^^ it's like a tradition.

That's fine in all honest I work weird hours so eating hard can be very difficult but may I recommend a mass gainer to introduce to your diet. BSN is a great line of supplements to try out. Don't get sucked into the whole p90x results and recovery stuff. I included a link to what is called true mass http://www.prosource.net/product_details.aspx?item_guid=A52B66A8-63E5-44DB-B08A-4E5DC74349A3 good luck with p90x. I am gonna head back to it once I finish up p90x 2.
