    what do you eat to bulk, get cut, or to maintenance. Post em up

    So today is my rest day, since im not going to be working out, im also eating less, so here are my meals for today.
    First gather indigence

    So we have:
    2 cups Organic baby spinach
    2 buffalo chicken breast
    1 marinated salmon
    1 can black beans
    2 banana
    8 egg whites

    Breakfast

    Scrambled egg whites with spinach, 1/2 grilled chicken breast, 2 scoops of whey with 1 banana.

    Lunch

    1 1/2 chicken breast, 1/2 can black beans

    Dinner
    [​IMG]
    Baked salmon with 1/2 can of black beans, and i will finished the day with another protein shake

    Total stats of the day
    Calories: 1838kal
    Protein: 268.29g
    Carbs: 157.69g
    Fats: 29.95g

    Because watching macros IS NOT A GAME!!!!!!

    Busy day today so i didn't get to cook much broke my fast just now and had a big ass protein shake, 4 scoop of whey 2 bananas 4 kiwi. nowim making 12oz beef fajita with 3 baked mini potatos.

    I meal prep a lot to keep me on track. But it's hard (time consuming) to keep track of macros.

    so....much...chicken, beef, fish....I am now hungry again after 30 minutes of eating.

    I just recently started leangains IF. Along with the ec stack. I seem to be dropping an inch off the waist every half week or so.

    By Friday I'll be half way through my cut, week 5. After that just 5 more weeks til I go to Destin for Spring Break! jus cant wait ta git duh laydees all up ova der

    haha i was about to say man, ruben sure can cook! im cutting this whole year, gonna slowly get down to around 15 or less then enter an amature powerlifting contest next year at around 200lbs.

    What do you guys suggest I cut at? Calorie/macro wise? I'm 5'11" 170 and 15% but have jiggly love handles I want gone by summer......everytime I try to bulk (even a slow bulk) my waistline gets bigger. I'm thinking of IF'ing at 1,500-1,800 calories as this is what I did last summer and got close. Would like below 10% then can do a re-comp/slow bulk! Size to me doesnt matter, just want below 10%, toned and stay as strong as i am now!

    your body's natural estrogen(yes men have them too) is what keeps your love handles. IF at 1500 calories just sounds miserable, you will feel like crap, thats what most people do for contest prep and they looks awesome but on the inside they feel like shit. only thing that will help is to lift heavy on big muscle groups which is mainly legs then back then chest. in which release natural test and keep your body in a constant fat burning mode aka after burn, and another thing is cardio, rather than eating 500 less calories, burn 500 more calories doing cardio, usually good intensity (optimal heart rate range: 200-your age). the more food your body gets the more your metabolism works, wonder why micheal phelps is riped as fuck eating 8000-10000 cal a day?

    some supps i would suggest to help you burn fat, Yohimbine HCL, MTS drop factor. there are tons of illegal stuff that we can take to burn fat and get jacked but i don't think any of us wanna do any of that :D

    Check out Paleo. I do a modified paleo and man does it give me the energy I need to do my workouts and love how I feel. Cholesterol is down and my A1c is a lot better than it ever was!

    No, no we don't! :notsure: If I were to do that I would have done it a long time ago when I was young, dumb and full of .....you know the rest!

    I know 10-12x BW works well, but like you said it does get miserable and performance is affected. LeanGains suggests 1,500 on rest days and 2,000 on workout days for my size which may be doable only eating 2x a day.

    Maybe I'll just slowly work it down from where I am now, 2k calories with lots of protein. Have been looking into DIM (an estrogen metaboliser) and some other things. As well!

    I wouldn't wing it on what it suggests. Take a week to count the calories you take in a day. If you stay basically the same weight, then that is your base caloric intake (i think that's what it's called). Meaning, that's the amount of calories to take in to maintain your weight. From there, work your diet from that. I will usually take in about 500-300 less calories on off days, macros being 40p/20c/20f. On workout days, i'll eat what i'd usually eat to maintain, macros 40p/40/20f. But work around what works for you. It takes a little work, but the results will show.

    This is only for cutting.

    ive got a 1lb 4 oz ribeye in the freezer for tonight, another weight gainer shake, a sweet potato for fries, and onion and bell pepper to top the steak

    ive also got about 40lbs of deer a lb of bison a 1lb rib eye and 5lbs chicken breast in the freezer, some uncured turkey bacon and eggs in the fridge and a whole rosseterre chicken for lunch tomorrow
