Just a bunch of old crap
Finished another dual 26650 mod box this weekend, in transparent red. Did some homework on putting in a mosfet transistor, and found a fatty that can handle 300A. Wired it up, and man does this thing smoke! Even running 2 MNKE 20A batteries, it hits harder than my other non-mosfet box with 2 Efest 35A batteries. Can't wait to put the Efests in it and see how it hits. Really happy with the new circuit.

Almost done with my 5 battery (18650) mod, too. Got the machining all done, and it's also going to have the mosfet circuit and a fancy LED button. Can't wait to see how that thing cooks. Should have it wired up and running this weekend. Pics to come.

How much do you charge on those box mods? I'd like one

I don't sell them. They're a bitch to build and aren't worth the hours of labor I put into one. I built another one for my mechanic friend who spent hours getting our Infiniti all fixed up and running good again. I'm just doing this new one for me during my free time, which lately isn't much.

I wish I could just turn the design over to a fabricator/assembler and have them mass produced, but that would mean an outsourcing to China or something and having to buy them by the container load. Not worth the liability if one of these things blows up on a customer.

Will do. Once I have my new one built, and the rebuild for an old friend of mine, I'll see how I feel about getting more supplies to build others. I'm pretty burnt out on making them now, but that could always change :)

My masterpiece is complete. These batteries were all at 3.6V and this thing hit like a 300mph Chinese supertrain. I can only imagine how it fires up when it's fully charged to 4.2V. It will probably blow my face off.

    - 5 x 18650's in parallel
    - New blue LED voltmeter (accurate to 1/100th of a volt)
    - 200A mosfet transistor to bypass the switch
    - USB recharger circuit
    - 30mm deep well 510 connector with floating center pin
    - Solid 14 gauge copper wire for all power connections
    - Total of 12,500 mAh capacity at 35A continuous (with purple Efests)
    - 3 full day capacity between charges
    - Low profile LED fire button

My current dual coil 24 gauge setup on the tank pictured is running at .205 ohms, so this thing hits at 88 watts when fully charged. The mosfet has plenty of room, rated at 200A.

Enjoy the show, and thanks for playing. Consolation prizes will be handed out at the door when you exit.

So it took almost 10 hours to charge all 5 batteries simultaneously from 3.6v to 4.20. Crazy. Now on to the endurance test to see how many days it will run before it drops back down to 3.6.

Well, to top them off each night, the recharge only takes about 3-4 hours. These batteries were new, and had sat on my shelf for about 2 months from another project so they were all discharged to about 3.6V. My charger circuit trickles at only about .8W, so it's slower than a phone charger but safer.

Guy is goofy but I learned about the flow control from this video.

I've been debating picking one of these up, but I've been quite happy with my Atlantis and I can't justify the purchase. With that being said, I've heard some outstanding reviews about the Arctic sum ohm tank. I've been told it hits like a freight train.

Five Pawns is by far my favorite juice. I just picked up another bottle of the Black Flag Fallen and Absolute Pin this evening, adding to my small collection of Sixty Four (12mg & 24mg), Gambit, Perpetual Check, and Castle Long Reserve.

    Cotdaymn.

    Ooooh.

    Holy crap. Wow.

I was torn between that and the Xtar VP2. The Xtar won, but I don't think you could go wrong either way.

12mg usually, but the Castle Long Reserve comes in only 3mg IIRC and I have a 24mg Sixty Four that I bought more out of curiosity than anything. Every time I hit it I think:

Get one of the zero gravity x10 jump battery's . That's enough juice. And rechargeable, even in the truck!
