Agreed. Skip the disposable garbage at the gas stations and go right for a nice simple eGo starter kit with a C4 tank. Get some tobacco flavored juice in a 12-18mg/ml dose and give it a whirl.

eGo is what I started with. I still use them. They're cheap and easy to use. I also like the Protank II, which fits on the eGo batteries.

This is what I puchased and very happy with the results .I did reviews for about two weeks before I jumped in . I am sure you can find it cheaper on your side of the map .
Havnt smoked a cig in a week and the flavours are excellent .
You get 2 e cigs with this package so you can puff 2 different flavours at the same time .The tanks that hold the juice are made of glass , not plastic . I have only gone through about 5 bucks worth of juice in a week . That would of cost me about 70 bucks in regular smokes up here where I live

You'll probably want some kind of tobacco flavor to start with, helped ease the transition some for me.

Butterscotch is awesome, that's the only flavor I buy, but I'll be getting into mixing my own juice soon, and I probably won't even bother with flavor.

As mentioned above , a tobacco flavour is what I started with .
You have the option of different strengths . I chose 12 milligrams of nicotene which is considered a medium strength cig .
Because I have two e-cigs , my second flavour was bubble gum also in the 12 milligram .
They both hit hard and taste is great .
I purchased a flavor variety pack but havnt tried them yet . Waiting for the tanks to empty .

Vapure sells a couple I like: Snickerdoodle, Coffee, Pure Menthol and Black ice (Black Licorice). I've been making my own lately. Some of my favorites are Peppermint and Orange Cream. The local Vapure store here in San Diego will let you sample them before you buy them.

    Sexy mod.

I've got my eyes on the Hades mech mod running the 26650 batteries. Something to go all day with plenty of juice for my dual coil sub ohm dripping needs. It's a monster, but when it just sits in my cup holder or on my desk all day, it could weight 5lbs and I wouldn't care.

    http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10007573/1672200-mixed-hades-style-mechanical-mod

Looks like a regular sized mod, but it's a massive 31mm diameter. I want the 6000mAh out of the 26650 batteries though.

thanks this thing hits hard on a .5 ohm dual coil

i have been looking at those too.

i have been doing some reasearch on clones. infinite and hcigar seem to be the best clones and neither one deals with fasttech

i have some really good infinite clones. i would pay a few dollars more to save some headaches later.

they also make an atty to fit it

I've been searching them on eBay as well, because I don't want to wait 3 weeks to get it from Fasttech. I'm also looking at those huge 26mm dual coil drip tanks for them. That's a huge platform which could hold extra juice in it so I don't have to drip and drive. Might be time to pull the trigger.

Question for you sub-ohmers out there.

I'm currently on low-nic juice...and the only reason I have any nic at all is for some semblance of throat-hit. I don't like feeling like I'm vaping just air, know what I mean?

If I go sub-ohm with a decent set up, is there any chance that the denser vapor will give me "throat-hit?" I KNOW it won't be REAL throat-hit, but I just want to feel...well..SOMETHING to let me know it's there. I'm hoping the density from a sub-ohm dripping set-up will get me there. I'd love to be off nicotine completely.

Related note; if I can get rid of nicotine, what level can I drop to and still notice a throat hit with a sub-ohm set up? Currently I order whatever the lowest is from various vendors...typically 6mg....

Should I/could I order 0nic and mix my own nic at a much lower level?

Thanks for all the input. :)

Absolutely, If you go Sub-ohm on a dripper, you will get a very good lung and throat hit with low nic. I wouldn't recommend anything above 6mg on a sub ohm dripper. I'm not sure what device you are using now, but if its anything other than a mod with an RDA you will notice a huge difference. Even when I was using throw away egos, and protanks at a higher nic level (18,14,12) I could not drip sub ohm over 6mg. The throat hit was too much.

If you do start sub ohm on a dripper, you might be able to still get a good throat hit at 0 nic. I haven't tried in quite some time, so I dont remember what it was like. Just make sure you are using all of the correct hardware if you plan on going sub ohm. It could be very dangerous. Do a little research and have fun.

I've done all the research and no how to be safe...I've messed with building coils and everything...basically just waiting to hear what you shared before I invested in equipment. I appreciate the feedback.
