You're lucky to have a good local vape shop. The closest one to me is a 1 1/2 roundtrip. High prices, limited selection with Chinese crap juice.
If you don't have a local one I reccomend MtBakerVapor. Custom made to order when you order & shipped the same day with great prices. Located in Washington.

Thanks again Matt! Unfortunately, I live in alabama, and the closest shop is a 2 hour drive from me. I may just have to make the trip to be sure I get all the right stuff.

    Thanks again!

MtBakerVapor is a great site to buy from.

I'd say you guys were the lucky ones...if my area wasn't so saturated, I'd open my own shop. Every single one that has opened has made TONS of cash from the business because of all the buyers wanting to walk into a store each week, build relationships, buy their stuff and walk out.

Here's a map in my area when searching for "electronic cigarettes"

I got in trouble with my high school last year for having one of those things. There was nothing illegal about it, no nicotine, nothing except water vapor. They just didn't know what to do about it because it's such a new phenomenon, so they revoked all my senior privileges for it.:mad::mad::mad:

I'm afraid to use anything else though, because I KNOW I will like it. I'm trying to quit altogether, so I feel that vaping something basic is the best way to get over it. I could easily see myself making this a new hobby if I'm not careful, and I don't want that.

At least you can acknowledge that fact! haha I kept staying in denial until I spent $200 in a vape shop one day and walked out thinking "WTF did I just get myself into?"

Exactly! I know I'd spend more on good hardware and liquids than I did on regular cigs. My friend has a huge collection of great vaporizers that he's been using for over 2 years now and he goes way over the top with it. Don't get me wrong... I love good quality in products I buy, but I really need to escape this habit altogether.

Sorry, but I cannot agree. At two packs a day (what I smoke), I'm burning up over $300 a month on cigarettes.

The way I see it, if I spend less then $300 a month on e-Sig stuff, I'm saving money, and it's a lot less harmful to my body.

More specifically what I meant is I wouldn't stop at just one device.. I'd be trying dozens of them to find the "perfect" one. I get obsessive about hobbies like this if I'm not careful, which means I know I would spend more on vaping products than on regular cigs.

Ahhh, that makes more sense. This is the exact reason I went straight for the top of the line model. I also didn't want to buy multiple setups trying to find the perfect one.

I plan to use it until I can kick the habit of picking it up. I think picking a smoke up is half the addiction. Once I can kick it completely, I'll pass it on to the next smoker that wants to quit.

    Thanks for reading!

I was vaping 3 years ago when NOBODY knew WTF they were. People from all walks of life, smokers, non-smokers, kids, adults, men, women, were interested. And now I look around and see my fellow Tacoma enthusiasts have a multi-page thread on the topic.

I'm proud of you guys for making the change. It isn't easy, but it sure beats the alternatives.

That's how I felt!! when I picked up my first one a little over a year ago I hadn't seen very many people use them but I took a dive anyways a tried it out and the out come was amazing I feel like I like my e-cig more than I actually enjoyed smoking:p

And that's also why I started this thread too see who if any were using the same alterative as me, and also to show whom ever may read this that they can quit and there is a lot of people on here in the same boat as them.
And there are a lot of people like your self with good information that even I didn't know about, to help people pull the trigger on the correct unit and even insight on anything else we may need on certain items.

I couldn't have done it without them ether.
Over 35 years of smoking I quit the day I got my E-cig and started vaping.

I've been smoking for 30 years. I have tried everything including chantix which made me absolutely crazy! This thread is a God send! I'm going to give this a shot. Not sure where to start? I need to do some research :)

Good luck. I've been doing research like crazy, because I'm getting my ass on the quitting train.

I can't wait to get the stuff I ordered, so I can throw out the tobacco.
