    Here ya go....go out to the front yard and start spinning your arms around in a circle like a windmill. The centrifical force will work the splinter to the surface and out it comes. Make some weird moose mating call like sounds and that will also summons the splinter spirits.

    Hey chris being a "first responder" and an EMT in training, I think you should be fine. Give it a couple of days and just keep an eye on it. I wouldn't do a lot of dirty work just to keep from crap getting into it.;)

    I wouldn't fiddle around with it too much more because you don't want to get foreign containment in there. Simple advice is that if you're really worried about it, go to a clinic and have a Dr. look at it.
