Health Insurance

How many on TW have health insurance?

 

Only because of my dad at this point in my life

 

i have it thru where i work, and though its not the greatest, its pretty effective. my neck surgery last year was outfuckinrageous.....but insurance helped alot.

 

yea thanks to my work the one thing that keeps me there. i use it way too much dam dirtbikes.

 

We have excellent insurance......my problem is I never use anything but the copay for maybe a once a year Dr visit.

I do use the vision for my glasses/sunglasses/eye exams

 

Haha I am with you on that, I think i would have bankrupted my family if not for it

 

i am self employed, i dont have health insurance nor retirement fund, im screwed....

 

Just avoid the swine flu and you will be ok! Well and I would not recommend driving, appearing in public, breathing non-filtered air.....

haha just kidding. Hopefully your self employment venture pay off so if you ever do need medical help you will be in a financial position to handle it!

 

she has the government social insurance, it is free, but its not that goof, we are going to a private doctor and hospital when the baby arrives, but currently she needs to go also to the government clinic, just to get her maternity leave when time comes....

We were discussing this subject last week, she can put me with her government insurance, but i would like to buy a health insurance for both of us, and later just add the kid to the package, its expensive though...

 

I have decent coverage... I'm pretty healthy so I went with the least expensive option through work. The premium is just $1.50/month, but Heaven help me if I ever go to the emergency room!

 

I do. I am covered throught the wifey's plan at work. They are about to switch to Humana. Anybody know anything about them? We have Evergreen now and my job is switching to Blue Cross Blue Shield. It's free for me at work and they have a deal where we get a $10000 life ins policy with it. They are offering $10000 life ins on children for $1.70 a month up to 4 for that price. We're finally getting something at my job worth a crap.

My work provides my wife and I with a PPO.

 

My dad has us covered with BCBS even though he retired and now works for Kaiser

 

Government Empoyee baby!! 100% covered for me and the Fam!! There is alot of BS on occasion but it is worth it..
