Good thing (well sort of) you can get out and walk in the daylight. that's one thing I hate this time of year... not being able to walk in the daylight. Park at the far end of the parking lot (leads to less door dings too) to get a little more exercise. If the weather is crappy outside, then take an extra lap around the inside of the store.

Buck... I use http://www.calorieking.com On the site you will find a Calorie/Carb counting book. This is the best for counting carbs. You can also find the book at any book store

John.... I was once in your shoes, i was depressed, run down...i hated life. After talking with many people, I learned that we all go thru this. I hated the way i felt and i wanted to feel better. I know i will die with this disease, but I refuse to die from it.

You do have medical ins, correct? because the pump and supplies are big $$. My pump cost (if i were to buy it on my own) $7000.00 and my pump supplies run about $1800 every 3 months. I have Blue Cross ins, and I have NO out of pocket expense. My ins pays for everything 100%. It may sound like alot for the pump and supplies, but its cheaper for a Ins company to keep you healthy. My 4 week stay at the hospital cost my Ins Co. over $600K.

I am also very involved in the JDRF and the ADA, get involved and take control. It helps

Yes I got insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield but it will last till Dec.09 then I will probably have to go on Cobra which will be 65% covered by the Government now for 9months. I dont hate life I just sometimes hate life when you have to add on the fact that Im living with a cronic diasease that complicates things especially when lifes unexpected problems(loss of job)(loss of loved ones) happened all at once. Thanx for the offer of help I'll keep you in mind if things dont get better.
