If you're in the Charlotte area again sometime soon you should check it out. Their brewery is in South End.. Conveniently right down the street from Old Meck.

Gah I love Bad Daddy's. Never actually had Mac's though :anonymous: the wait is always so long lol

We have a brewery here in Huntington Beach called Beach cities brewery. There ipa5 is very similar to the sculpin. I would even dare to say it is better. Has a longer sculpin bite. Very tasty. But maybe just because it is fresh. Mmmmmmm mouth is watering

    Oh yhea castaway ipa.

Not a peaty person myself. I'm a big fan of Glenlivet and Sheldiag. Love me a good scotch though!

Yeah, I was feeling rich tonight. Made $80 clearing driveways with my old Dodge for coworkers who didn't want to snowblow in a blizzard, so I stopped at the local booze shop on my way home. :D

Fair trade, though. They bought me a tank of gas and a bottle of my favorite whisky. Good enough for me.

If you're not big into a bold peat you'd probably like Macallan. Still a good scotch, but the peat is a little milder.

Haha yea, I've had Macallan and it's pretty good. Best scotch I've had was a Glenlivet 12 yr that was bottled in 1962. it was delicious and was priced at almost $900 a bottle lol

In other news, this is pretty good.

That's great, the brewery is right around corner so I frequent there a lot. Their IPAs are good, they have came along ways over the years. They just aquired a bigger building for bottling and you can now find a lot of their beers in Eastern PA. I stopped in there last night and got my growler filled with their Chocolate Porter which is really good. I will post a pic later.

I picked up a bottle of Foley Brothers Fair Maiden in Vermont a couple of weeks ago. It is very good, and right up there with the standard Vermonth Double IPAs. I should have bought more. It is expensive when compared with the canned DIPAs, since it is sold in 22oz bottles.

I just started brewing a 2 gallon batch of a Czech Pilsner so I hope it goes well :D... Yeah it's really just a mr. Beer setup but I am new to brewing so I figured I'd start with the easiest one and work my way up.
