Was in Bruges, Belgium about a week or so ago, favorite beers from the trip were the Delirium Tremens and the Brugse Zot Blond, also toured the De Halve Maan Brewery which was awesome.

Interesting. I wonder if they are not going to brew Focal Banger until the Stowe brewery is up and running, or if they'll distribute to stores in the mean time.

I also didn't realize that the Waterbury brewery was going to remain in operation.

I cant wait for this! Focal banger is so damn good, i would drink it over heady or sip of sunshine any day. I am not sure about their plans, they actually have not posted any info on it, just rumors circulating. They consistently did pop up sales the first saturday of every other month, that would have been last saturday. I also heard they were planning on releasing petite mutant again, which means they might be sitting on it right now, awesome beer! I was at the last truck sale when they did lusciuos and focal. I think there was more people than they expected, people went home with no beer. I think part of the problem was people were parking where they were asked not to park, and alot of people decided to drink in line. Kimmich's wife was supposedly walking around asking people to put beer away and she was probably ignored by most. The dude in front of me drank a growler with his friends while waiting, not cool. My favorite truck sale was rapture/crusher release. I left VT with 3 cases of special release alchemist beer.

I must say this is one of the best, if not the best, beers that I have ever had so far in my life! Apparently monks sure know how to make beer.

My friends uncle had a bottle of Pliny when we were up there (nova) the other day! I should have asked where he got it from.

Brewed a Russian Imperial Stout last night with a few friends. Got the carboy loaded up in the kegerator. Sucks that it takes 4+ months for this beer.
