Pitched the yeast in a batch of hard cider yesterday! Who here brews their own cider?
I usually do a double ferment, letting it sit in the carboy for about six months for the solids to settle out. That way I get a nice sparkling cider. I use beer yeast, too, for a farmhouse style (sweeter, slightly lower alcohol content).
I've done it with champagne yeast before as well, and used fractional distillation (through totally accidental freezing, of course:spy: ) to get myself some pretty good applejack.

Here is my Altbier that I brewed two months ago. It is the dark beer in the Revolver glass. On the right is my buddy's Honey Blonde.

I spent some time on the Northern Brewing site and I was impressed by the amount of stuff they have available. Both information and to buy.

    Thanks for that link!

Delirium nocturnum and tremens are really good beers. I'm also jealous of Beerrun's free beer samples. Free beer always taste better for some reason.

    Ahh the beer corner!

Right now on tap is a Bavarian Hefenweizen and a Ska Mexican Logger clone.
This weekend will be an Octoberfest and a pumpkin beer then the week after I will be brewing a chocolate milk stout.
