It was very good. My beer pals tell me something called Boneyard RPM is better.

Oh yeah. The Black Butte is a limited run beer....

We have a couple places to buy more than the 'usual' stuff but not that many. I wish we had more places and a better selection :D

The Racer 5 is good. Better from the keg than bottle. I was kinda mixed on Leffe Blonde.

Visited a few San Diego breweries on Saturday, including Stone, Green Flash and Ballast Point. Great experience.

    My favorites from each:

    Stone: RuinTen IPA
Green Flash: Serrano Chile Double Stout
    Ballast Point: Habanero Sculpin IPA

I was at Stone, Ballast Point, and little place called Rough Draft about a month ago on a tour with a couple buds. Found good stuff at all of them. Ballast has a stupid number of beers in the tap room.

I'll have to try Rough Draft next time. Ballast Point was fantastic despite the large amount of frat bros who were there. Ha

I remember Southern Cross at Rough Draft was good. I liked their Belgian, too. And somethign else I cna't remember. It was the last place...:drunk:

Yes, there was a bit of a bro factor at BP tap room, but we got a personal tour through the brewery, and I can't remember everything we tried there, but I do rememeber Sculpin and their oatmeal stout, I believe. Both very good.

The gardens at Stone are incredible up in Escondido, but we went to the new place in Point Loma this time, and it is just barely open. Very interesting and nice architecturally, basically looks like stucco-style 1920s mission-style ex-Navy base redevelopment, bocce courrts, etc. But if you are outside, you get all the departing Southwest flights taking off full thottle climb from Lindbergh (OK, everyone stop talking again), and frankly, their food offerings just seem off, trying to be too fancy. But Ruination FTW.

I'm fortunate to work around the corner from a great little brewery in SoCal.

If you're ever in the Anaheim area, check this place out. Good people, good brews!

We have some great breweries here in Bozeman and the surrounding areas. Bozone and Madison River and two great ones. Week after next I'll be heading to Red Lodge to get my growlers filled. The have a pilsner, CheckMate, that is just awesome.
