Thinking about starting a local brewery or brew pub. Looking for advice if anyone has done such a thing or something similar.

Vermont has a few that have done very well & started just as you want to...

Rock Art is one that I've read about lately...husband/wife team who had to go through some pretty tough hurdles with trademark laws & have made national news. These guys are small but happy with what they are doing & down to earth.

    Magic Hat
    Long Trail Ale
    Otter Creek

    do very well......

I had a friend who's husband started Rail City Ale...but ran it into the ground.
Today's economic situation, I would have a solid business plan Good luck & follow your dreams! :)
