    I have been waiting for months, hopefully soon I will have one to install.

    Ironically, the 01-04 is the hottest/hardest to obtain version even though it hasn't been made in almost 11yrs and they literally sell hundreds of 2nd Gens daily.

    If they reintroduced the 2004 Double Cab again as a new model, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

    Guys have to understand this:

    This is not a full-time job for me this is a part-time thing that I do nights and weekends.

    Due to that fact I have very limited capacity.

    I do these 1st gen grills as a service to the TW community because I truly enjoy doing it.

    I tell everyone who is interested in purchasing one to subscribe to this thread. You have the ability on Tacoma world to get an instant email update any time somebody post in this thread.

    I always post in here when I have a pair available for purchase.

    Honestly, this is the best method that I have come up with to handle orders for this product.

    Many people have asked me why I don't just build grills full time - the answer is that I have a full time career with Home Depot for 16 years now. I love that too and it would be silly to quit a fortune 50 company with benefits to work in my garage.;)

    I'm flattered by all of the interest and appreciation for my work. You have my word that I'll continue to build these for as long as I am able or as long as there is a demand. :thumbsup:
