    Anyone else painted theirs recently? I haven't had a chance to install mine yet and had thought of painting the Tacoma logo with a metallic blue to patch the paint, but I'm still on the fence. I *think* its dark enough to be noticeable but not so in your face.

    Yep....

    One thing I want to do is lightly paint the AC condenser black... so it's not so noticeable...
    Not sure if this will affect the performance and efficiency of it...

    I moved the horns down and painted the shiny areas of the radiator. I taped off the vent areas because they were already dark.

    So you mean your sides edges of the radiator? Both my radiator and the ac condenser are silver and stand out alot....
    As far as the horns... those were already relo'd by Grill Master Homer Taco himself...
    I'm thinking a quick light mist of radiator spray paint

    I was fine with getting a "satoshi" style grill without the letters. I figure, if they're there, why not give them a little "pop"?

    Everything I have 'read' says it shouldn't be a problem to hit it with some high-heat spray.

    If your willing to do the fabrication for it the mesh would work - you'd need to work out fastening the mesh differently though...
