How long is this good for? I VERY much want to go with Icon C/Os and Rear Resi shocks when I do my lift, but it's going to be several months before the money is available. I plan to do front C/Os, rear shocks, rear AALs, UCAs, Diff Drop, Swaybar relocation, CV driveshaft, wheels, meats, and regearing all in one fell swoop. Potentially wheel spacers as well. Hence the expense.

are you doing a 4x4 conversion??? you dont need new CVs

The diff drop doesnt do shit and had more negative reviews than positive and as long as you get the proper back spacing spacers will not be needed.

Also the sway bar brackets are included with the coilovers.

saved you some big money there

CV Driveshaft. Constant velocity. To prevent vibes.

Good to know about the sway bar brackets. It and the diff drop are both only about $20, so I dunno if I'd call it big money, but thanks for the info. I'm back and forth on the diff drop...some people say it lowers CV wear, others say no. I'm tempted to agree with something Chris4x4 said in a thread a while back...that 1" drop translates to very little over the width of the vehicle.

the diff drop on my truck caused more vibes than it prevented, I know otheres have had similar issues.

Unless you have a prerunner and are doing a conversion you will not need new CVs. 4wd on an IFS truck uses a cv or constant velocity Axel to give power to the front wheels if I understand correctly.

Is that what you were talking about? Front cvs?? or did you mean to say a one piece drive shaft like a Tom woods?

YGPM. One-piece driveshaft. I said driveshaft from the start. I'm not talking about CV boots.
