I have another question, why do you brits like to be crammed? I stayed at the brand new Hilton at terminal 5 at Heathrow, it is literally less than a year old and the damn elevators can barely fit me and my bag in it, god forbid theres another guest trying to use it as well!

I am guessing to save space in an already crowded/small city.

Also, you should only be in your hotel room to be sleeping, theres so much to do! ;)

Just to clear it up (sure the OP already knows this) "British" refers to everyone in the United Kingdom. "English" is everyone from just England.

I would love to move to somewhere in the UK for awhile. Maybe one day

Stationed with US Air Force at RAF Mildenhall from July 1994 through October 2001. Took road trips all over England, Scotland, and Wales. Loved it! Only made it to Dublin, Ireland on St Patrick's Day once; more Americans there that day than Irish.

Sincerely want to go back to visit Scotland again and see more of Ireland.
