Anyone here from the K-Town area? I'm looking for a good 4x4 shop around here... German dealership wouldn't even take my rims off to rotate the tires.

I have been there but not recently; back in the 80's. I hope it's still as nice as I remember it. And good luck in finding a good shop.

i went to the autoshop on landstuhl and the guys said he wasn't sure that his machine would handle them. said he would show me how to do it but i had some trouble with a similar situation in tx where the kid put way to much weight on. looked like the mirrors were going to vibrate off and felt like the truck was going to bounce off the road. i went to the one on vogelweh, next to the carwash, and the guy there told me to go to a place near ROB (next to the esso station). couldn't find it. closest thing we saw was "large" truck place that looks like they handled semis.

i might just have to suck it up, go on post and see what happens.

I wouldnt recommend the toyota dealership just find a local tire shop or mechanic. And I cant believe the auto center wont do it for you. 285's are very common these days.
