Constructing pies and pastries? They pay you for that? It's your god given work and you should be happy to do it for the privilege of having a providing man to support you.

My company never gave out a Christmas bonus, but stopped division parties and employee product give-aways a few years ago as a cost saving measure.

My wife's company gave her a Turkey at Thanksgiving, we had a nice Christmas party recently, and they're giving her a day off before Christmas that was a total surprise.

They slowly pulled out of chapter 11 and things looked good a year ago. But of late is slow. Our company puts in alot of bids for jobs but we seem to lose out on them cause other companies come in on bids so low we cant make anything at their prices. I am worried about them shutting down. I have been selling a few things and saving money. I was lucky I didnt get my hours cut. I have to be there each day ,they got rid of the guy I work with he was the only other one who could do what I do....

I just 'retired' from the military...they don't give out a bonus.
Now, I can finally work for someone who does.

No bonus for me. I haven't worked for a company that pays a bonus in years.
