All you need to do to be legal is find an instructor and do a flight review. one hour plus any extra touch up you might need. The instrument rating I'd have to go back to the FAR's to remember but depending on how long it's been could be a proficiency ride or another check ride. If it has been that long you probably don't want to be flying instruments anyway

Cool thanks, I ask cuz I got offered a job for a pipeline company in CO and since I had commercial pilot on my resume, they wanted me to fly their 182 or 206 to remote areas and show customers the construction. My main job would be a project manager.

Sounds perfect to get back into flying. If you ever make it to eastern Utah (Vernal) drop me a line. I'm out there every other week flying EMS.

Yeah I really cant imagine after all the yrs ill be getting paid to fly again. I started at ERAU my freshman yr, thought to myself what if something happens and the airline industry sucks? YR later 9/11 and my buddies that stayed are really hurting. Im really lucky to land this.
