Pricing for cutting 17 Cords of wood???

I found a guy who would like me to split wood for him. He has 17 cords of wood. The trees need to be Blocked, Slpit, and Stacked on site. I would like to know the following.
How much should I Charge/ Get payed per cord?
How many hours does it take to split a cord of wood?
How long should i be allowed to finish splitting all the wood?
What would a rough estimate of profit be after all the work is finished?

I know its a lot of questions but I don't need to know this information. Anything you can provide is helpful.

Do you have a good log splitter? Sledge and wedge? Ax? Maul? Type of wood?

17 cords is going to take you awhile, at least a week working longs

Are you using a log splitter? Cuz I hope so, otherwise with an axe and wedge.. holy balls haha

Edit: Jdaniel beat me to it haha.

17 will take a bit of time. I remember hauling just 5 cords to houses we sold wood to, 3 of us and it took a bit

I will be using a 27 ton Gas log splitter. It is pretty fast and runs good. The wood is Ponderosa Pine.

I would say by yourself you're looking at 3-4 hours per cord. Be careful with pine too, when it's really try, and you catch an edge that doesn't split well, it'll blast out of the splitter like a rocket!

If you can find another person, it'll be 10 times easier, could knock out a cord an hour, especially with the 27 ton splitter

You are gonna be moving this wood how ? I mean a stacked cord is 4'x4'x8' , so you are talking about stacking firewood , 4'x4'x136'

Yes everything will be onsite. Cutting, splitting, stacking, He may have me stack it all in one place. He lives on a small farm so all the wood will be in one place.

what experience do you have?

Also price wise, I grew up splitting and stacking for 95 bucks a cord, you could prob get $125 a cord I would think

Thats the problem. The kid he was using before had a bunch of friends to help and the just messed it up. They were making the split logs like 4 feet long. haha. So he wants me to work solo and i need the money
