Why are you a stay at home dad? Are you looking for work or is this by choice?

Is that why you had time to do the Satoshi?

It's by choice. If I were working it would just be for daycare money anyway. My wife and I decided it would be better for the kids and I can't make what she does so this is how we decided to do it. We get the last one in school next week so I can't wait to get back out there and get a "real" job. And yes, that's the only way I had time to do those satoshi's.

i hear ya man.... i'm just saying it would definately have it's ups and downs. i'm just saying i would love to stay at home and be able to spend time with the little ones.

I know what you mean, it's just that after 10 years.....it get's to be like a J-O-B. I def. think women are better prepared to do this day to day, long term.

That's exactly how I felt after 2 weeks. Now I just want to dig ditches or pick up garbage off the street or something, any job will be fine. Just give me another adult to talk to ..... or no one at all.......AHHHH peace and quiet.

But none of my female friends accepted my wonderful work from home job opportunities. I guess the benefits weren't good enough..

Well if work picks up, I'll be working maybe a day or two a week so that will be good. But my son is really easy going for 6 mo. old so it's a pleasure so far.

I am not a dad yet, but hopefully I will be. Plus my wife works from home. When we do have kids I think I will go part time only work 20 hours a week for the first couple of years of my kids life. If things work out, stay that way!! I am soo jealous!!

got laid off just b4 x-mas 2008 ,she graduated kindergarden in june and it's been all me since. i've been job searching everyday but there is shit out there and the pay sucks,it would be good to be younger that's for sure.we signed up at the library for a summer reading program t oget her ready for 1st grade(thats free and free dvd rentals)never thought i'd be out this long
but am determined to make the best of a bad situation.
