Is this the way around tint law?

it's called "double glass" and new thing in US. Long story short it's hard peace of plastic that installs behind window and can be lowered as needed. Here's the link from utube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Gh3CBX1c5E
not the best video, but it's short.

So technically window is not tinted but u have like sliding plastic curtains. What you think?

my buddy told me it's depends on officer. Some bad cops already will stop you for no reason, beat you up and write up tromp up charge and having this curtains is like asking for extra beating by nj po.

I'm at a 50% ratio for getting a ticket with dark tint, if you don't have it permanently installed on your vehicle I wouldn't see it as braking the law, but I'm sure there is some fine print (varies from state to state obviously)

Is it really neccessary to have your windows that blacked out? Seems like an awful lot of work to go through to just to break a window tint law.

For the chronic window tint violator it would at least be cheaper than tearing off and re-tinting the windows..

Get a sunshade if it's an issue while parked.

You want tint to be cool, though I think it's ridiculous that legislatures can force a tint law (among many other laws) on the people of a republic it's silly to avoid the law.

If you want tint that bad, file your driver disability form for glare and have a doctor sign it. That will allow you to legally run 35%.

Your buddy is an idiot. He is clearly an anti-authority asshole who makes shit up. Do yourself a favour and drop him as a buddy.

Most cops I've seen give fix it tickets so basically get the ticket drop the tint go to police station get the ticket voided then drive away put tint back up.

This... Some states even consider A cracked window or windshield Obstruction of view and will give you a ticket for that...

This seems like a PITA just for some window tint and would end up getting at ticket anyway...

Please dont turn this into a "cops are pigs" "cops break the law" blah blah blah
Officers dont just beat you up... and they dont just "pull you over" they have probable cause for something.. sometimes things as simple as you didnt yeild, or come to a complete stop at a stop sign... your friend is a moron and deserves to be butt raped by a unicorn...
