Has anyone changed the colors on the ac wheels? Ie fan strength, position gor vlower, and the temp? I want rid of ALL the angry amber.

 

Save a bunch of time and buy from a 2012-2015 trd at a wrecker or by base model 4 cyl. from wrecker. Fits like a charm and only some super easy wire splicing plus LEDs

 

Would this fit a 2005? If so, that may be the ticket! I too don't like the orange behind the knobs, and did a LOT of work to eliminate as much as I could.

 

It fits my 2011 just fine pull yours out and count the wires and note the colours. My plug was different shape but same number and color of wires. I just cut and spliced a new plug and it works great, don't forget to save your factory dash clips and swap them for a better fit too.

 

A safer way to remove the amber lens tint is with several small blocks of a magic eraser and some plastic scratch remover such as Plastex or Novus 2. Place some painters tape around the lens so you don't get the polish on the faceplate adhesive. Otherwise, it my not stick as well when you put it back together. I used q-tips with polish to get the Amber tint out of the corners.
