Does anyone have any experience between the two bulbs? Currently i have the Morimoto 5000K D2S bulbs. I am thinking about upgrading (if it is worth it) to the Philips 85122 + or the 85122WX.... Any input? Photos?

I also have the Morimoto Mini projectors with 55watt ballasts.

philips FTW. i had asked matt from theretrofitsource about the difference between the 85122 and the 85122+ and the + ones don't color shift over time like the normal ones do. so, i would guess over time, the morimoto bulbs will shift where as the 85122+'s will retain the oem color

i ran 55w ballasts and 85122+ on my wrx, no issues at all. but they were in TFX projectors, so i'm not sure how the mini's will hold up over time with the added heat from the ballasts

Ok, I will deffinetly be changing to the philips bulbs.... now I just gotta figure out if the wx bulbs are worth the extra cash over the "+" bulbs. Anyone got the wx bulbs?

some searching on hidplanet yielding this. philips ultinon (the official name for the WX)

the higher the lm rating, the more usable light

    philips 85122 (4100K, 3200 lumens)
    philips 85122+ (4300K, 3400 lumens)
    philips CM (4800K, 3100 lumens)
    philips ultinon (5800K, 2400 lumens)

So if I wanted best performance(light output) for my buck I should go with the + model right?
