i preped the grill this weekend by cutting out the bar thing from the factory and removing the grill sanding the living shit out of it to take off all of that gray paint and then gave it an alcohol bath and sprayed it with rhino liner. it matches all the other plastic on the truck and now it bullet proof. although it looks retarded driving the truck with out a proper grill in place lol i'm not sure if people are checking out the truck or thinking wtf did this guy do the his toyota lol.

:deadhorse: here goes new tonneau cover under cover se and weather tech visors! tomorrow ima try and mount the lights which will take time but i intend on making a bracket out of angle aluminum so that the lights are as close to the grill craft as possible but still be mounted to metal due to their weight. hella rallye 1000 black magics. so heres to hoping the mounting and grill instalation goes well:pray: also if anyone on here has any pionters or knows of a thread on how to wire these lights that would be sweet i have searched and did not seem to come up with very much. i'm not going to use the wire clamps that came with the lights i'm going to try and solder the wires together.

i was scared to do the black head light thing as well but i followed veits thread on the matter and found it to be just a time suck it takes time other than that it looks awesome and the hardest part is fitting the bezel back into the lens when you are reassembling the light. you have to be carful of your new black paint. other than that there is a shit ton of info on here. and i also did not use the 3m window seal stuff like he did i just used premium silicon caulking and it worked great. although i don't think i will ever be able to get them apart agian lol if and when i do a hid rotro fit i will just buy the ebay lights and use them but thats a ways off i gotta give the modding a rest for the time being, my credit card is smoking lol.

love your truck. as for the arm rest thing i found a box in a craft store that fit between the 2 seatbelts and came to just shy of the front of the seat. i bought some thin foam padding for the top of it then covered it in a grey vinyl i got at a fabric store. wanted the same abric as my seats but it wasnt available anyplace i looked. anyways it came out great and i got a place to keep the cds now so i dont have to reach across to glove box.

thats awesome. post some pics when your done i was looking at a black one to match my incoming seat covers on auto anything but i don't think that it will fit length wise on the seat its tricky with that indentation on the bench.

haha tonight i took a trip to 6thave electronics in deptford nj and picked myself up a pioneer avic-x920bt double din in dash navigation/bluetooth/ipod capable headunit to replace my factory radio in my regular cab. it looks pretty sweet and my install date is set on halloween at 10:00 am. all together it came to 950.00 with installation and all the pieces ipod cable and stuff dash kit everything out the door. pretty sweet deal. tcbob posted a thread about 25% off pioneer products and it saved me some money so a shout out to the moderator who posted this. good job this is why this forum rocks.
i will post some pics as soon as i can.
