I agree with not needing a 55watt kit, regardless of the housing. 35watt is more than enough. I ran a 35watt kit in my previous vehicle and never even used my highs. I prefer 5000k myself.

As far as 6k in the fogs, I think most people care about the fogs matching the lows for the look than they are functionality. A 3500k kit would probably be best for the fogs for functionality purposes.

I wanna do a 5000k/3000k setup, I'm just so hesitant about putting HID's in a truck with it sitting up higher. I had a kit in my Impala SS but since it was a car I never had any issues with blinding people.

I've got 6000ks in my fogs, they are not as bad as some will have you believe, prolly not the best for fog. Also 6000ks in mini morimoto projectors, both in 35 watt. I just added a billet grille with some FF500 Hella with 55 watt HIDs in 8000k, (the extra light washes out some of the color, and I was wanting to match colors).

Personally I think doing the fogs is a waste of money unless you're planning on running them all the time so you're going for looks. A quality set of halogens will work just fine for their intended purpose. I bought my kit a year or so back when cubby was going a group buy. He's done several since. You should PM him, he knows all about them.

FWIW I've been running the 35w lights - I think at 5000K as I recall. White and bright - can see an ant crossing the road in the darkest part of the night.

The high/Low bulbs will give you high AND low beam lights. THe regular H4 just gives you lows. I ordered the H4 by mistake and I am returning them for the High/Low bulbs instead.
