hey guys i'm new here at TW. got my truck about a month ago. i recently bought some HID's from ddm and i didn't get the relay because i read somewhere here in the forum that you don't really need it. now the question is i got the kit and i'm looking at two free wires which are red and black and the rest clips on to the designated slots with the ballast. where does the two wires connect to? i'm not electrically oriented so pics would really help. done my research on this but not too much came up.

actually all the connections have been connected but i'm still left with these two loose wires. i correct myself they are blue and black. they stick out from the rubber piece near the bulb itself.

Hey turonat the two wires that are also in the rubber grommet along with the wires from the bulb are your power and ground wires if you were to connect these directly to your factory wires. for example i have some hella 500's converted to HID and i had to use the "blue and black" to connect to the power wires. but since you have a newer truck your factory harness should connect directly to the ballast so you shouldnt haveto use the "blue and black" extra wires.

Hope this helps I was confused at first also
