N-Fab from fourwheelonline. I wanted to go Avid (got my sliders from them), but I wanted something a little more subtle. The light bar choice was fairly easy but the light choice...

Been searching the threads and need to search a lot more!

    Hella 500 Black Magic
    PIAA 510's
    KC somethings, etc

I'm going to start with 2 driving lights then go from there. Would love some Liteforces but I need to keep it within budget.

What is your budget? I am kind of considering selling my Lightforce 240's. They are in very good condition.

I'd go PIAA 520's. They're a great light, very bright and a little bigger than the 510s. The 510's are a smaller light, I believe 4"?

You could also look into the Costco IPF's. You get a lot of light for the money, as I understand it. The 968 kit comes with wiring harness (apparently better than Hella's), and most people say they outperform the Hella 500 series considerably. $89.99, and they also have a more expensive IPF kit with 100/130W bulbs for $130 or something.

If you are looking for cheap, that's probably the best bet. I just read a aux lighting comparison (pretty extensive) from an Australian 4x4 rag that compared a lot of stuff. Lightforce and Hella 4000's were their first pick, followed by a set of Cibie Oscar SC's. They had some IPF's, and they didn't seem bad for the money. Stick with the round ones over the rectangle models.

Last I looked, you can get Lightforce for the same price (roughly) as PIAA... PIAA is really expensive. 240's new are going for about $250 a set, without any wiring harness whatsoever.

I'll have to look at the IPF's. Costo Online only has the 900 series, not the 968. The Hella Blacks are around $100 or so for the kit. The PIAA 520 are around $220 and the Liteforce is somewhat higher. I'm still doing all the research to get the brightest bang for my buck.

I'm doing the behind the grill lights. I was leaning towards the Black Magic 500's. The PIAA 520 ATP's look good also. Just waiting on my GrillCraft.

I'm leaning more towards the 520 ATP set. As far as I can tell: Better Build, Brighter Light. Maybe in the future some HID Fogs to compliment the ATP light pattern.

As I understand it, the 900 series from Costco (round) are 968's. Someone on another forum (FJ Cruisers?) looked into it... says 968 on the part number. I haven't looked at them in a few weeks though. They don't come with the rock screens, just covers.

Just bought the PIAA 520 ATP kit for my Avid light bar. Hope to get them installed in the coming week.

I just got my set of piaa 525's. I chose them since they take an h4 bulb that doubles for fogs and driving lights. I haven't had a chance to mount/test them yet.

I'm working on a custom bull/light bar and have really been liking the Lightforce design. But, I can't seem to find any of their lights sold as singles (if I want a 3 light design). Anyone have a lead or website that'll just sell a single Lightforce light? Also, through my research, the Lightforce brand is priced similar to the piaa but you don't get the wiring harness, switch, relay or covers. All of that you have to buy separately. But, by just swapping the lense, you can change the pattern and/or color.

It appears that 4wheelparts.com has individual lights for sale. I'm eyeballing my PIAA ATP's from them.

I bought my Lightforces from www.off-roadlights.com. It's a small shop, but they carry Lightforce and Vision-X. You can buy single lights from them.

Those 240's are big daddy lights I agree. I'll check out the other recommended place as well.
