I ordered a new set of h4 headlight housings and some PIAA intense white h4 bulbs. What do i need to do to install these bulbs since the sock ones are sealed beam? Thanks

Should be the same as changing a sealed beam headlight. Just have to put the new bulbs in the new housings you bought first. If you are using high wattage bulbs, you might have to upgrade your wiring.

OP: Do you actually have these parts in front of you right now? Have you looked at the connectors on the truck? I assume this is for the 95 you have listed in your avatar?

I have done this conversion on a 1986 Toyota 4x4. I also sold auto parts for a few years. The 86 uses the same sealed beam light that the 95 tacoma uses. It should be a direct plug in just like my 86 truck was. As long as the wattage isn't more than 55/65 you should be fine with stock wiring. I made a custom harness for my 86 and ran 80/100 watt bulbs. Worked AWESOME. You can buy upgraded harnesses already made up too.

Can't figure out why you would have to change the wiring? Maybe if you post pics we can help better.

Edit: If your truck uses a part number H6054 for the stock headlight, then the H4 plug is exactly the same.

I dont have the parts yet. I looked at my stock lights and the plug will fit the h4. But im getting the PIAA intense white bulbs and they say Wattage60/55w = 135/125w, 4100K
My question is will have to upgrade the wiring or is the wattage okay?
    Thanks everybody for the help!
