H.I.D Offroad Lights

Hey guys found these the other day did some research and looked at some vids these things rock! and are pretty decent priced.

My original plan was to get some hella 500's and retrofit H.I.D's but i found these and they would be about the same money as the 500's completely done and half the hassle.

Anyone have a set or have experience with them? leme know

Here's the link

People are having issues with the plastic cracking and breaking. Other than that, I think that they are a decent light.

Yea, I was just wondering if anyone had attempted to convert the Hella 550 series (Rectangular) not the 500 Series (Circle)?

If the HID fits inside the housing I don't see why it wouldn't work. Thats me guessing though!

It should be doable. The 550s are 3 1/4" deep, whereas the 500s are 2 5/8" deep. It should work just fine...

the kragen HID lights are a decent light and back when they were $70 they were a good buy. now they are way overpriced for what you get. mine have held up just fine and they are bright as hell, but when stuff is made in China... it's like rolling dice

I spend a little at a time. It doesn't hurt the wallet to much that way. Then when your ready to upgrade. BUY/SELL/TRADE.. You can get some money back.
