PIAA Driving light adjustment question

I have PIAA driving lights that came on my truck which I relocated. They look like they are either 520s or 540s but definitely the driving lights. I see online where it talks about adjusting them them vertically. But was wondering about the horizontal adjustment. Should I be adjusting them so the beams merge at a certain distance or just point them straight?
