    How many people are running HIDs without projectors? What HID kits are you running? Do you have any head on pics @ night? Thanks

    People do it, but everyone recommends not too...it creates a really unfocused light and glare for oncoming drivers...I actually believe it is "illegal" to do it w/o projectors...Hopefully somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.

    i did it without projectors, and yes they are annoying at night, but I aimed them low to offset the light glare.

    I have HIDs with no projectors. They do scatter light everywhere, but if you aim them down (as to avoid issues with glare and distracting on-coming traffic) they still provide WAY more beneficial light over halogen(s). Well, that is, if you go with a respectable spectrum. I run 5k. And with all that being said, I am currently doing a HID projector retro!

    Here's a few pics;
