I got these off of e-bay. I think they give the truck a clean look.

No offense, but who cares what the tail lights look like? They're tail lights. I can think of lots better things to spend the money on.
If I had to choose though, I'd probably go with these:

Well, where's the list? Like what? No offense but saying stuff like that without anything to go with it is just empty chatter. Everyone can say the same thing in any thread about any mod and it's always the same thing - your priorities are not necessarily any else's. Spend your money and I'll spend mine. Have a nice day and happy modding.......

Personally, I'd go LED all the way. I also try to keep everything looking as stock as possible while improving on the design of the OEM. I put new taillights on my 8th gen Accord and they looked almost exactly like the ones I took off except they were LED.

^^^^^Yeah, those red LEDs up a ways would look good on your red truck. IMO, it kinda depends on the rest of the trim and whatnot. I wanted smooth black'd out ones to go with the rest of my base model trim and those matched my faunkydoodle ccfls with clear lense and black housings.

I have the Option 2s. I do not like the chrome daisy at all. I like the light and design, it's just that chrome daisy,,, can't deal with it. I tried a set of the 09+ aftermarket black one's, like KPT showed above, but same daisy thing. I then traded those for the option 2s. I like those best as I'm not into the all red LED style like Tacoma909 showed.

But it's all personal style, it's what you like that matters. Only thing I don't like about the Option 2s is that the taillight outer lens appears to be the same as for the style that Tacoma909 listed. IOW, the stop/turnsignal sections are actually pushed out some, those sections actually are level with the tailgate lines instead of the curved line around rear corner panels. If you can find a side view, or look at the black or red led version of those lights, you'll see what I'm taking about.

Don't get your panties in a bunch there killer. Yes, it was just my opinion, and I stated it.

I voted for the Ebay ones cause those are exactly like the tailights that I am wanting to get after I get my bull guard and my halo headlights. :)

NP...I probably could have worded my original response better. I just have never seen the problem with the original tail lights, and they seem to get a lot of hate here. To me, they're red and they light up when you step on the brakes, so good enough. Like you said though, to each their own. I changed my fogs to yellow, so I guess I'm not so different. :D

The problem I had with my oems was that screaming pink reverse light and dodge style bulges. I only wear pink in a coupla places, on my junk or in my face :D and I wanted clear lense and black housing to match my 4 eyed beemeraudi ccfl headlights and my 3rd brake light. I really think different ones look better on different trucks, depending on the color, trim and other mods.

I got rid of my 06's and went with some ebay black altezza ones for a couple years then thought they looked kinda ricey so then I went with the stock 10' LED ones and smoked them and I think they look great!!:D

WW ^^^Those are the best looking LED ones I've seen. The chrome daisy has always prevented me from liking them for my truck.
