Now if you are doing a reto I like the Morimoto
why do u not recommend plugging into the factory harness?

he is saying that from a simple bulb replacement stand point (pull halogens, put HIDs in) The reasoning is the reflectors glare really bad with HID's and make it uncomfortable/dangerous to other drivers. Plug into factory harness as opposed to take the headlights apart and swap in a proper projector into the reflector housing

Cannot compare the two..... TRS ......who else is happy to walk you through things, honor their warranty, provides better quality products, has high quality control standards, and is constantly looking to improve upon products instead of being content selling the same old stuff?

I have ddm hid kits in both mine and my dads trx450's havent had a problem with them yet, but I only have used them about 6-7 times. I haven't done alot of night riding in a while. Then on my truck, I have an H1 retro from TRS and love it and use them all the time. I got in at the beginning of the second generation of led rings and blew about 3 resistor packs and they never questioned the warranty. They finely fixed the known issue with them and sent me two upgraded resistor packs. One more thing, something happened with one of my ballast. Just one quick phone call later I had a brand new ballast being shipped to me. No questions asked either. TRS has the best customer service ever, and have made me a lifetime customer.
