"MY" behind the grill light mod

After looking at the pic's/post's here I decided to do the same thing. The series of pic's below will show what I did. Since I have the billet grill, I could not install them like the ones with the mesh grill.

I used alum stock, below is before paint. I tried to center the lightes even with the billet grill. I am by lazer measurements 1/16" off center

Like I stated beofre not painted, and light installed to see what the out come would be. I still need to wire everything up, just waitng on the switches.

Great looking grill... and great job with the lights. Does the grill come in black and where did you get it and the lights?

Are they gonna be able to be adjustable just in case they're pointing up too high? I’d think the grill would get in the way of doing some tilt

The grill is from Carriage Works and yes it comes in black. Lights I got from A.A. check the Shop Online tab in the upper right.
According to a Hella headlight level (very old school tool, is at least 20 years old) the lights are level dead on. They look tilted up a little, but I think the grill is throwing it off a bit. I have about a 1/4" to tilt forward if need be, if that is not enough (thought of this) I have the holes cabsule shaped, so I can bring them back a little.
Toyota just called and switches are in, so I hope to get this wired and shining in a few days......Thanks darkknight on the info on the switches.

Cool - what kind of switch are you using?? I'd get another fog light switch and change out the LED so it would be a different color or something... I'm loving the lights!

I am going to use a switch from Toyota, P/N 00550-35976. Matter of fact I ordered two,.......but I am going to get a third to fill all slots. Planning on adding lights to the inside of the bed, (another mod) since I have a hard cover, plus adding a "black out" style military light. Just need to find the location to place it.
