Need OEM Fog Light Switch Wiring Diagram

I'm seriously considering swapping the OEM fog light switch for the FJ counterpart. I have the wiring diagram for the FJ switch, but not for the Tacoma switch. Life would be easier if I could find it. I have seen others use the FJ switch for new/add-on lights, but has anyone done a straight switch swap?

Thanks for your reply. My problem is determining what locations the connecter pins from the Tacoma switch go to on the FJ switch. That's why I was asking for the switch wiring diagram.

I'm not sure which of the 2 FJ switches I'll need. Maybe you or someone else can clarify.

Yes, the FJ fog light switch has an indicator light, looks like all our other switches and fits the holes in the dash. Why Toyota didn't use it in the Tacoma is a mystery.

I really don't know; I've got the part numbers for the fj fog light switch and the similar fj auxiliary light switch. I don't know which to use yet, but am beginning to think that it doesn't matter.

Nice. I hadn't seen the light bar switch before. Let me know how the fog switch turns out. I'm about ready to drop this idea until I can get more definitive information.

from what i see here is this diagram either switch they are wired the same....the bottom 1 and 2 are the illumination of the switch when interior lights in truck go on.... 1 would goto green wire 2 to the green-white wire......3 goes to blue wire (to relay) 4 goes to white-black wire (ground).....only difference is that you have to ground terminal 6....terminals 5+6 on the fj switches are to illuminate the indicator light
