Daytime Running Lights

Maybe its just my truck but i dont have DRL. i have the dot before you get to low beams but when i put it on there it dosnt come on. If thats the case how would i fix it. If i dont have it then how would i go about adding some. Im planning on doing the Fog light mod with DRL if i could get it to work ._.

 

most US taco's don't have DRL's. You can make the fog lights into DRL's in the "Mods & Tutorials" Section at the top of the web page. or you can shell out the $50 or so to get the proper fuse and pull half of the front driver side dash apart and do it right. Most of the Canadian Taco's apparenlty have DRL's, so there ARE stock Tacoma parts you can order. Look around, it's on here somewhere.

BTW, I'm pretty sure there is no "dot" for DRL's to come on. They should come on with the key.

 

:O really now? Could you point me in the right direction? i'd like to know how to take the dash out. i want to do it right AND do the the fog light mod. it'd look good i think

Yeah, I'm seeing them more. I wonder if it's on newer trucks only?

thats a possibility. i went to a local dealership and they told me that it wasnt possible. Thats what they thought anyway. >_>
